The Hair Club London is a relaxing hairdressing haven, providing a glamorous pampering experience in the leafy suburbs of South West London.
The Hair Club London Team have been at the heart of SW11 for nearly 30 years.
What started at the Drawing Room on Webbs road then evolved into The Hair Club London on St Johns Hill has now expanded again into our second location with the introduction of our exciting new Salon on Battersea Rise, bringing fresh energy to the neighbourhood. Our award-winning stylists specialise in curly hair, balayage, blonde highlights, hair extensions, Keratin treatments, Perms, precision cuts and male grooming. We don’t do conveyor-belt hairdressing. Clients come in as customers and stay with us for years because this is a place where you’re known and cared for not just booked in and processed.

Denise is the owner and driving force behind The Hair Club London she’s been in the Hair Dressing Industry her whole working life and has always dreamed of owning and running a World Class London Salon and with every year that passes this dream is coming true thanks to both a combination of a wonderful and diverse team and amazing clients.
The quality of the work leaving the Hair Club London is truly sensational and the portfolio and reviews speak for themselves.
Denise’s two main passions are Hair and Travel.
Margareta Mavroudis
Senior Stylist and Curly Hair Specialist

Margareta has been a hairdresser for 27 years with most of this time in Wandsworth. She lives, eats and sleeps hairdressing and her skills are only eclipsed by her exemplary customer service. Her Greek heritage gives her a passion and zest for life that is both inspiring and contagious her interests include going to the gym, spin classes, body pump and she’s a self confessed bibliophile with an ‘almost eccentrically’ fastidious cleaning habit!

Her journey began at just 14 years old, working as a Saturday girl, where her love for hairdressing blossomed. Since then, Emily has honed her craft and developed a reputation for her exceptional talent in highlights and precision cutting, making her a favourite among clients seeking stunning transformations and flawless finishes.
Beyond the salon, Emily is an avid traveller who loves exploring new cultures and destinations. She also enjoys staying active through cycling and hitting the gym, bringing her vibrant energy and dedication to everything she does.
Yvan Malie

Yvan is one of the most experienced and senior stylists at The Hair Club London, with a career that spans over 30 years in the UK and on the international stage. He began his extensive training in South Africa and has since cultivated an unparalleled knowledge of the industry, mastering a vast range of styles and intricate techniques.
His impeccable attention to detail ensures a perfect finish every time. He takes great pride in understanding each client’s vision and bringing it to life with precision and flair. Yvan is fluent in both English and French, ensuring a comfortable and communicative experience for all his clients.
Jo Mc Nicholas

Jo is one of the original team that started at The Drawing Room locally over 20 years ago she has over 25 years of experience having started her career at Carlton Hair in South Africa.
Jo is one of the bravest creative hairdressers on the circuit and never shy’s away from a challenge she strives to always be at the very cutting edge of trends and fashions so she can deliver the latest look to her clients with ease. She commutes from Nottingham weekly to service her regulars and is only available Tuesday and Wednesdays so has limited availability so I’m you want the Jo experience you need to be quick as she gets booked up very quickly.
Suzanne Straker

Suzanne has been a valued member of the team for over 20 years since completed her training at Jingles and with Wella
Suzanne has always provided a very professional, loyal and dependable service to both her clients and the salon which has made her so popular with everyone over the years.
She is also a bit of a fitness fanatic and always on the go like the energiser bunny! Suzanne is available for appointments on Thursdays and Fridays but other days are available by request.
Sarah Carpenter

Sarah is a highly skilled L’Oreal colourist and hairdresser with over 20 years experience, she specialises in all the latest L’Oreal ranges including the new ammonia free range INOA.
Sarah has worked in the Wandsworth area for over 20 years now and previously owned her own salon locally for 10 years before deciding to take it a bit easier and relocate to the countryside because of this Sarah is only available on Saturdays and Monday’s so if you want an appointment with her you have to book in early to avoid disappointment.
Becky Lawrence
Salon Manager and Senior Stylist

Becky is an incredibly experienced Hairdresser, she started working in a hair salon as a ‘Saturday girl’ at the tender age of 14 and hasn’t lost her love or enthusiasm for either the clients or the industry. Since achieving her level 3 qualifications she has constantly worked on perfecting her skills educating herself, living, eating and sleeping all things Hair. Her specialities include colouring especially blondes and has produced so truly spectacular hair art over the years.
Outside of the salon Becky’s interests include going to the gym, travel and looking after her little dog ‘Timmy’.
Tom McDougall

Tom has over 20 years of experience in the hair industry, building a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and personalised service and a two-time L’Oréal Colour Trophy Regional Finalist,
Originally from Cornwall, Tom’s also successfully ran a wedding hair business, developing a passion for creating timeless, confidence-boosting styles for brides and bridal parties.
Tom specialises in beautiful blondes, bespoke men’s hair, and Afro hair, tailoring every service to suit the individual. His approach combines technical expertise with a genuine passion for helping every client look and feel their very best.

Her enthusiasm for delivering stunning results makes her a trusted choice for anyone seeking a fresh, stylish look. Outside of the salon Olivia is a dedicated mother to her first born baby boy and is only available on limited days due to child care so book now to avoid disappointment.
Anita Maiello
Level 3 Junior stylist

Anita Maiello is a talented and dedicated fully qualified level 3 junior stylist and a rising star at The Hair Club London. Known for her exceptional initiative and keen eye for detail, Anita has quickly become an integral part of the team.
Her positive attitude and strong work ethic ensure that every client she assists feels valued and cared for. With a passion for learning and a commitment to excellence, Anita is a stylist to watch as she continues to grow and thrive in her career and during her junior stylist period she’s available at reduced rates whilst she perfects her skills.
She is fluent in both English and Italian.
Kheng Teh

We’re thrilled to welcome Kheng to The Hair Club London this September.
With over 20 years of experience right here in SW11, Kheng is a local legend and familiar face to many, known for his precision cutting, exceptional colour work, and the loyal clientele he’s built over the years. Following the retirement closure of Partridges Hair Salon on Bellevue Road, he’s joining us and bringing his clients with him.
Availability will be limited so If you’d like to secure a place with Kheng, we’d recommend booking ahead.
Nikita Briggs

COMING IN SEPTEMBER. The incredibly talented and popular Nikita will be joining us after a well deserved rest after the closure of her existing Salon Partridges on Bellevue Road.
Nikita’s amazing skills and customer service made her a natural fit at our Battersea Rise Branch and we extend a warm welcome to all of her clients and new.
